There are many input tools built into the existing technology. Usually, the peer group are not well versed in alternative methods other than typing. Essential tremors can have particular trouble with typing and traditional manner due to speed and pressure, as discussed earlier. Depending on the client, coaching on voice to text can work in the correct application depending on the machine learning and artificial intelligence the parent company delivers. If the client has deteriorating voice control, coaching on sending vocal recordings without text conversion may be a better method. Swipe to text keyboard is effective for some people, but I have not recommended this to date.
