Reduce Access Frustration with Face ID Access
Unlock the iPad with Face ID:
Several other small improvements will help make them less frustrated, using the phone easier and just make them less stressed when trying to get something done. For instance, being able to swipe down on the lock screen to rescan for face ID, also preventing screenshot when the phone is off. If they pick up the phone and try to open and turn it on and they accidentally take a screenshot, that’s no longer the case. When the phone is on and they press the two buttons it takes a screenshot, but when coming from a sleep state, I press the two buttons, it just turns the phone on. That’s what they want to do most of the time, they’re not going to want to take a screenshot if the screen is off, so this functionality is just to help ease the stress a little bit when something like that happens.
Note of caution: Make sure this is not connected to credit cards or purchasing via facial recognition. This can cause accidental purchases which are authorised via the facial approval.
