Tablet Setup
You have a new tablet or run a factory reset. In this set up I have clicked around the setup account creations and just connected the Wi-Fi with the goal of just getting the device running and then you can add the additional as you need them.
No more slow tape drives. Phew.
Know your Wi-Fi SSID And Password
All the new tablets need to connect to the internet for the latest security updates to protect the tablet. When getting started in the process this is important and worth adding in.
In some cases you will do set up and the updates will take a while as the tablet has been sitting in the box for a while.
You can avoid setting the Wi-Fi into the tablet but the tablet is virtually useless without a interconnection.
Google Account or Icloud Account details
As much as people do not want the data to go to the major companies you will need to log in at some stage.
In saying that I set up one of the tech tablets in the manual without connecting to the major account. I actually went to the effort of doing both iPad and Android. But the experience and usage on the android was better with the Google account connected.
In the manual you will all the screenshots with notation to guide you to where to look. I found many books had the screenshot but did not tell me where to look.

Setup Time for tablets
It took about 20 minutes to set up a new Lenovo tablet and about the same for a new iPad. The goal is to give people a manual they can see on their phone while fixing their tablets.
In the set up I have skipped many screens to show you how to get the tablets started with out all the details. There are some trick where they have added the skip button out the way. You will seen I have circles the steps. Helping you just get started.
