REWARDS Time – Limit app Category usage

If they find themselves spending too much time in only certain app groups, that’s doable as well. They can set app limits for complete categories, so perhaps we want to stop getting in social media so much so we can go ahead and create an app limit of maybe one hour for the day. We can even go and change that during the weekend to maybe a little bit more time on Saturdays. We can bump that one up to two hours. Once they go ahead and make the hour changes, then it’ll keep track of how much time they use social media in this case, and let they know when they’ve reached that limit. Once they get there, they’ll get that same Screen Time alert that we saw before. App limits along with other restrictions and parental controls can be great for particular outcomes. Of course, that’s not going anywhere towards the digital health, so we’re not looking into that too much but there are controls in there that they can use to see all the other friends and to maybe prevent from using apps so much or accessing inappropriate content.

In the past we would look forward to seeing a TV show at the same time every night. Maybe we could create Reward times to look forward to for example 6 pm till 8 pm is social media time or Games are available from 1 pm till 2 pm.
